A collaborative production of Smithsonian Folkways Recordings and the Institute of Papua New Guinea Studies. Two generations of Bosavi musicians and twenty-five years of field recordings in a historical anthology. The three CDs feature guitar bands of the 1990s, sounds and songs of everyday life, and sounds and songs of ritual and ceremony. |
